The West Marine Fun Regatta is to be held on Saturday June 14, 2008 at the Baltimore County Sailing Center . The format for this year consists of clinics, racing and fun.

A West Marine Fun Regatta T-shirt will be provided along with a clinic, use of a Hunter Xcite or JY 15 sailboat, use of a PFD and prizes as part of the registration fee of $20.00 in advance .

Optimist and Laser sailors may bring their own boats, with an entry fee of $15 and participate in the first junior event of the year on the upper bay.

All youth sailors ages 8 to 18 are invited.

CLINICS: A rules and rigging clinic before sailing.

 RACING: The West Marine Fun Regatta will be governed by the 2005-2008 Racing Rules of Sailing and any modifications made by the West Marine Fun Regatta.

Regatta Sailing Instructions will be available at the event.

 FLEETS: Optimist, Laser, Laser Radial and Laser 4.7

Hunter Xcites and JY 15s will be supplied by Baltimore County Sailing Center .

COST: $20 per sailor with advance registration ($25 Day of Regatta)

$15 for sailors using their own boats.
