SMALL BOAT SAILING MERIT BADGE can
be earned at the Center by participating in one of the
two programs being offered in 2007. A Friday evening
introduction at the Center is followed by two full days
of
sailing in small boats on Hawk Cove (Saturday and Sunday,
9 AM to 4 PM). US SAILING certified instructors
lead scouts through eight of the ten requirements for
the merit
badge. CPR (#1b) and SWIMMING (#2) requirements should
be satisfied in advance of attending the session. This
program runs once in the spring (May 17-18) and
once in the fall (Sept 12, 13, 14). Click
here to
register. The merit badge program is open to both boys
and girls and costs $75 per person. For more
