Special Olympics Sailing
Coordinated by Special Olympics of Maryland, Baltimore County; this outreach program matches athletes with volunteers for practices at BCSC once a week during the summer. Teams then compete in regattas on the weekends. Last summer, BCSC sailors were selected to represent the United States at the Special Olympics games in Athens, Greece. Corporate Teambuilding
Bond with co-workers while working together to sail a boat. Ideal for companies between 12 and 36 people. Groups of 3 will receive 1-2 hours of private instruction out on the water. After a lunch break, groups will then go back out on the water to compete against their co-workers in a regatta. Although an instructor will be on the boat for the racing, they are there only in case of emergency, you will make all of the decisions!
