Board Member since: 2019
Term Expires: Dec. 2021
Stephanie Bruning is Associate Professor of Piano at Morgan State University. She has two award-winning music albums and numerous publications. Although she is passionate about molding young musicians, she also strives to bring the arts to populations who do not typically have access such as those in shelters and prisons. Stephanie learned how to sail when she and her husband bought a Bristol 29.9. They enjoyed several years of exploring various areas of the Chesapeake Bay with their two young children. Now that her children are older, they participate in the BCSC’s race team and camps each summer. Stephanie continues to improve her small boat handling skills through BCSC’s adult sailing classes and sailing on summer vacations in Michigan. She looks forward to helping with BCSC’s camp and community programs.
