High School Sailing

 

High School Sailing is one of the most exciting and challenging programs BCSC offers. We treat sailboat racing with the same passion that other reserve for soccer or lacrosse. Students show incredible dedication by attending practices after school. It is worth it though... the breeze on the Chesapeake in the Spring and Fall is exceptional. All students are welcome to participate regardless of sailing experience. HS sailing is currently open to those in 8th through 12th grade. Schedule and Cost

High School Sailing Fall 2025 will begin September 9th and run through October. A beginner session will be held on September 7th in the afternoon for any friends or classmates who want to sail but are completely new. Practices take place at BCSC on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 4pm-6:30pm. Additional regatta opportunities will take place on weekends.

Racing Opportunities

Sailors also have the opportunity to practice their racing skills in weekend regattas.
