The team after its first ever win. They played a smart game at William and Mary's Spring Open. GO GRAYHOUNDS!
"We are a club sport at Loyola University Maryland and have grown over the past couple years. We go to about 4-5 regattas per season all over, from Virginia to Cornell. While we are a club sport team we race against varsity teams at these regattas. Our goal is to start team racing in the years to come and to have a solid women's team. We switched locations this year to sail there because the conditions are better."- Team Captain
BCSC College Sailing
DUE TO THE RISK OF THE COVID-19 COLLEGE SAILING FOR SPRING 2020 IS CANCELED

Scholastic Sailing is one of the most fun and challenging programs BCSC offers. We treat sailboat racing just like some people see soccer or lacrosse. Students show incredible dedication by attending practices after school and then doing their homework in the evening. It is worth it though... the breeze on the Chesapeake in the Spring and Fall is exceptional. To participate, students must be able to sail and want to race. Some additional sailing gear may be required as it gets colder.
Practice at BCSC will occur on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 4:00pm until the end of twilight (varies through the season - see schedule). Regattas will be on Saturdays and/ or Sundays and may require travel. See below for regatta dates.
