Wednesday Keel Boat Racing

 

We race two Merit 25's, Courageous and Intrepid (named after America's Cup Winning Boats). We sail in the Glenmar Races in the mouth of Middle River. These boats are the perfect boats to learn to race on. Everyone on the boat will have a job, weather it is driving, pulling main or flying the kite. We sail with people of all abilities young sailors, high schoolers, board members, instructors and staff. We ask for a $15 donation for sailing on the boat. 

 

Details: 

We meet at 4:00, and leave BCSC promptly at 4:30. We go by boat to Bowleys Marina to pick up our Merits. Racing begins promptly at 6:30. We race, return the sailboat to it's slip. We return by boat to BCSC at around 9:15. If you plan on coming please email programs@bcsailing.org.
